Food security requirements




Because of food-processing requirements, cutting of meat requires quality and hygiene demands.

For that reason OVIMPEX has implemented a system of quality control to meet regulations. It is properly understood that all the sites are E.U. sanitary approved.

Besides, OVIMPEX group has actively participated in drawing up the Book of Good Practices in Lamb Slaughtering and Processing.

To guarantee the traceability of its products, OVIMPEX has implemented a computerized batch processing system from reception to delivery showing origin and batch numbers through bar codes.

We have also developed the Electronic Data Interchange (E.D.I.) system available at our Customers request.
